Abstract
This article analyzes the narrative structure of Francisco Quintana’s "Historia de Hipólito y Aminta" (1627). This baroque novel has a rather complex structure due to a combination of several subplots (main story, intertwined narratives, internal digressions) and the juxtaposition of different narrative techniques.
