Zusammenfassung
This paper studies the epistemological background that was available to Michel de Certeau in his attempt to build an anthropology of belief. From structuralism to historical anthropology, through theology and psychoanalysis, this article shows the main authors and ideas that Certeau considered (but not exclusively), to try to answer the question about what kind of anthropology of belief Certeau offers in his texts.
