Abstract
The development and maintenance of health in school-age children is the main goal to promote the nutritional health and physical activity behaviors of the CATCH program. Specifically the Physical Education component has the following objectives: Involve students in the minus 200 minutes of physical activity a week, involve students in moderate to vigorous physical activities at least 50% of the physical education class, provide students with many opportunities for participation and practice skills, and provide students of a variety of fun physical activities. This article summarizes how to carry it out, in addition to proposing some recommendations to maximize efforts and make a fun and safe session.
