Abstract

The application of new technologies in Healthcare settings is nowadays a fact. Internet has become a basic tool in different professional environments, offering a wide range of possibilities. This article describes and analyses the utility of this new ways of understanding clinical practice and its' application. In this context, the cybertherapy appeared as an application of a specific psychotherapy, incorporating into the organisation new technical procedures: internet facilities and virtual reality, without forgetting the theoretical structure, the working model and the main objectives of the traditional psychotherapy. As professional nurses is essential to get use to this new tools and optimize its' use, satisfying current society' demands regarding healthcare from an innovative and holistic perspective.
