Abstract

The generalized forms of communication arise, communication theory of Habermas, as an instance ambiguous, contingent and independent of both communicative action and strategic action. Thus, the mass media, understood as generalized forms of communication, not a full realization and necessary for the approval of political or economic power, to the extent that any "journalistic mission, " as Habermas notes, references to an entity that is external with respect to the broadcasting center. In the Habermasian concept of communication, mass media can not generate all the information and, therefore, it is always possible to record diversity of issuers and actors in the communication process.
