This work tries to point up the role carried out by the different characters during the theatre play Le Mariage de Barillon (Barillon’s Wedding) written by Georges Feydeau, great master of the French theatre punning in the XIXth century. We will search how Love and Honour are the issues featuring each character, with Barillon as catalyst of the main events in the play
