Abstract
Liver cirrhosis is a chronic liver disease in which tissues and vascularisation are destroyed. It occurs mainly in people under 65 (labour force). It is estimated that the mortality is between 30% and 60% approximately. It is an asymptomatic disease until complications of cirrhosis appear. In this case we have developed a process of nursing care for a patient of 76 years old who has debuted with a chronic liver disease and cirrhosis several months ago. Due to his physical deterioration caused by the disease, the patient has many limitations for his Activities of Daily Living (ADL). For this reason the proposed care plan is focused on self-care and the lack of mobility that the patient is suffering. The care plan will be delivered counting on the main caregiver.
