Resum

The thesis arose from various situations in the training activities carried out by the Teacher Training Program School of Social Work; where teachers have expressed their disagreement in some aspects, such as the short sequence of activities, training objectives, dissatisfaction with some topics and speakers, and the absence of a diagnosis of needs and other aspects. The purpose of the thesis is to identify the training practices that were carried out, to know the experiences and stories of the teacher’s staff, the authorities and the persons in charge of this program, given that it's a space that has been operating for several decades and no research has been carried out on this topic. The work presented in this case of the study of the School of Social Work, which was sought to the understanding of the reality of teacher training in the educational space. After analyzing the data, the results were presented in two main general topics, which are: a) Content of the Teacher Training Program and b) Teacher evaluations regarding the permanent training. The reflections presented in the study highlight of the permanent training practices were carried out are empirical, because they were based on the experiences developed over several decades, they don’t have a defined training model, the training methodologies are traditions or behaviorists, the training theme doesn’t respond to a diagnosis of the training needs of the teaching staff, the program works without a specific budget and hasn't been evaluated, and its progress is unknown
