The aim of this paper is to start the design of work teams and coordination systemsto analyze (and compare) particular subjects (of undergraduate studies) at nationallevel. Our particular study case is the (undergraduate) subject HISTORY OFLABOUR RELATIONS. We propose in this paper the review of syllabus from severaluniversities, regardless the specific name taken by the subject. After this firstrevision, we will present an overall proposal that will cover a number of items, that, inour view, should be the content and that guidance that a ideal-syllabus shouldincorporate. Clearly the contents proposed are not addressed to future historians butthere are essentials to contextualize and understand the really complex and dynamicnature of labor relations. Finally, we board the role of the mentioned subject in thepresent context of crisis where we find ourselves and our participation – asprofessors - in the present social debate
