Résumé
Objetive: To determine epidemiologic profile to blood high-tension (HT) and related diseases in an argentine private nurse centers customers. Methods: A survey was applied on 379 both genres customers between 08/2004 and 12/2005, = 30 yo and under high-tension medication. Findigns: Normal blood tension was present in 12% cases, 31% with pre HT, 35% of grade I HT and 21% of grade II HT. Tobaco consumers 20%, 24% of the women used oral anti-conceptives, but 90% were abnormal blood tension. Corticoids used simultaneously produce 90% abnormal blood tension. 59% with sausage consumption, 81% with home salt and 65% with fritters. The physical activity produce a decreased HT grade I and II. An increased age perhaps produce an increased prevalence of grade I HT. The more frequent associated disease were osteo-muscle pathologies, cardiovascular problems, renal affections and stroke. Conclusions: The epidemiologic profiles of this sample were similar to others in the country and other countries ones, but the inadequate food consumption and tobacco use excel clearly. Physical activity seems quite beneficious. Risk behaviors need a psyco social and cultural approach for further nurse research.
