Abstract

Teaching is a complex system based on the design of a syllabus. Its curricular components have coherent and interdependent relationships among them. We present this chapter where we are going to address some of the curricular components: competences, objectives, contents and assessment. We are going to define each component as a key piece in the curriculum's design. Our main goal is to make good syllabuses which respond students' and contexts' needs and demands.
