As teachers we contemplate that it is necessary for the students to develop skills and abilities that enrich them and ensure an integral and free progress of their identity. Education is understood as a fundamental pillar for progress. In addition, educational centres are ideal spaces to bet on inclusion and act against any form of intolerance. On this matter, the gender perspective must be incorporated into the school's curriculum due to the existence of an unfinished path towards overcoming inequality. For this reason, throughout this chapter, we Will enquire about aspects related to the social construction of gender and stereotypes, the role of schools in the socialization of individuals. We suggest promoting the principle of gender equality from the educational sphere and those measures adopted by the educational system to respond to this demand. Therefore, we seek that teachers and future teachers become aware of the importance of ensuring real equality from an early age, as a social value protected under current educational legislation and a necessary means to achieve a more just and inclusive society.
