Resum

Responding to the diversity of students in the classroom is an unavoidable question at this time.The aims, competences and contents must be accessible to all students without leaving behind those students who are at risk of exclusion or who are more vulnerable. Teaching strategies help us to make this path towards an adequate response to differences more bearable. However, the didactic resources, materials and aids greatly facilitate the work of the teacher and the attention to the idiosyncrasies of each of the people we have in our classrooms. This chapter tries to clarify questions such as the concept of didactic resource, material and medium; the criteria for selecting resources;their functions; the different existing clasifications; the concept of inclusive didactic resource; what the Universal Design of Learning; what is the DUA Wheel; what we call specific resources and how to build inclusive resources. We give a place to an issue as important as the resources and teaching materials in the classrooms, trying to help teachers and future teachers in the improvement of the teaching-learning processes.
