Abstract

The Master's degree in “Gender studies, identities and citizenship” constitutes a pillar in the presence of the feminist and gender perspective at the University of Huelva as it brings together the three ways in which the university space is developed: research, teaching and social dialogue. These pages reflect on its genesis, purposes, trajectory, achievements and future projection, alluding to the external and internal conflicts it has faced and emphasizing the particularities of the general framework in which it is inserted: the difficult incorporation -ex nihilo- of gender as a category of analysis in the construction of knowledge and as a training content in study plans.
