Resumen

The differential evaluation of the general characteristics of young people is a first step in order to identify potential risk factors for abuse in adulthood. This information is essential to identify situations or individual characteristics potentially relevant to the design of effective action strategies. As part of the excellent project of the Government of Andalusia (Spain) named “Dating violence” we have made a research to analyze the victimization experience of young students from Huelva. For that we have used as part of a broader test the CUVINO, a dating violence questionnaire designed for youth in Spanish. The application of the questionnaire was conducted in different schools of Huelva and the University of Huelva. Regarding the gender variable, significant differences were found in most of the questions about victimization experiences. When analyzing educational level, significant differences were found between the secondary school, high school and professional training studies in relation with university studies.
