Abstract

This contribution gathers some of the results derived from the execution of an Innovation Project (2021-2022) of the UHU. This project is directly linked to a subject in the 4th year of the Primary Education Degree, aimed at raising awareness and designing proposals for action in relation to the problem of the Cabezos de Huelva. These unique elements of the Huelva landscape are recognised by the Andalusian Inventory of Georesources (2011) for their scientific, educational and tourist value. Thus, we emphasise the need for scientific literacy, citizen participation through schools and teacher training as a means of making these elements visible. Therefore, the methodological approach of this project is based on socio-scientific learning, outdoor activities and project-based learning (PBL). The results of the project are presented according to its different phases, with emphasis on the data provided by the initial questionnaire, the didactic proposals designed by the students, and some of the evaluations made by the students through a group logbook
