Resumen

Engineers must stay up to date with the new toolsthat are being produced to optimize the processes due totechnological and technical developments. Updating study plansis required for engineering studies in order to make students toremain competitive and to learn the skills and knowledge thatwill be expected from them during their professional careers. Inthis regard, remote laboratories are now an element of moderneducation, especially in engineering. Teachers and researchersare aware that a thorough examination of the advantages anddisadvantages of didactic implementations of remote labs canhelp to improve both these learning tools and their pedagogicalimplications for engineering classes. Another system which usagehas revealed an enormous potential is augmented reality (AR).Providing huge opportunities for online teaching in science andengineering. This paper proposes a methodology to implementhybrid remote laboratory courses together with the usage of ARtechniques. In this study case, these methodologies andtechniques are used to develop practical sessions based on remotereliability analysis in order to approach the usage of smartsolutions and 4.0 industry to engineering students.
