Abstract
In this chapter, we focus on explaining a fundamental concept for organizational analysis and functioning: organizational cultures. In contrast to the structural dimension, the cultural dimension emerges. Understanding it will help us better understand educational organizations, interpret what happens within them, and find answers to various questions that will often arise in our professional work. We present some indicators and clues to 'know' educational organizations in cultural terms. We will point out some characteristics of the teaching culture, highlighting the importance of collaborative cultures as a way of working and relating among school members, and as a guarantee of improvement in the work of teachers and the school.
