Abstract

School organizations are characterized by a set of objectives, means and procedures that enabling them to achieve their goals. The complexity of educational institutions, together with an increasingly changing and uncettain social and regulatory context, makes it necessary to develop planning documents in a systematic and well thoughtful way. Moreover, planning processes respond to the principle of institutional autonomy established by the educational system in our country. In short, the importance of planning in the organization of schools through knowledge of the documents that make up an educational project is unquestionable. In the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, this project takes the form of the School Plan, which includes: the Educational Project, the Organization and Operation Regulations and the Management Project, which reflect the collective, continuous, and daily work of the teaching staff.
