Resum

Experimental subjects in the Chemical Engineering Degree require individualized attention so that students can understand what, how, and why to perform the activities in the laboratory. However, in large groups, the immediate help from the teacher is limited and the student may have difficulties due to lack of previous experience in laboratory environments, generating insecurity and resulting in less learning. These circumstances have led to the implementation of a new flipped classroom teaching methodology based on the use of video tutorials, carefully designed to cover both fundamental concepts and experimental procedures in practice, generating a more autonomous learning environment and a more active role for students in the learning process than traditional methods.
