My research proficiency is focused on the synthesis of organic dyes, organic chromophores, and organic fluorophores as light-harvesting antennas, based on organoboron and functional π-conjugated molecules. My strategic planning is carried out by the generation of fundamental knowledge about the molecular design and optimization of selected photophysical and other functional aspects, performing from improved prospects for bioimaging to solar energy conversion applications.
