Abstract

This research defends that students with musical aptitude get better results than the rest of their colleagues with regards L2, due to their good auditory skill. If it is necessary to have a high auditory level in order to learn a foreing language, and studies of music can help get this, the introduction of music and songs in the lessons should be a good resource to improve the linguistic aptitude. The relationship between language and music appeals to the emotion of the one who listens to, but it also encourages memorization. A conscious and structured use can provide great benefits in the foreing langua lessons.
