Résumé

The work is divided in two parts: firstly, once we have outlined the schools characteristics in Spanish context, we analyze the schools of Huelva in this period, characterizing the different phases by we have passed, as well as the types of schools that coexist at this time, with special focus on the catholic and private schools. This first part finishes with the study of the main educational agents, we put emphasis in teachers (initial and lifelong learning and socio-professional) and the students (distribution of registrations for schools and levels of attendance). The second part, we proceed to know the internal characteristics of the schools in their curriculum and organizational dimensions: plans of study, methodology, resources, time and spaces organization, they are some main variable used to describe these characteristics.
