Resumo

This work aimed to better understand the formation of youth football coaches in the province of Huelva. To this end, we developed a questionnaire that was administered to 79 young football coaches in the province. Subsequently interviewed 10 experts in grassroots football and training for soccer coaches. As the most important results, we can say that the data indicate that the soccer trainer must meet a number of features, which are: educator, with training and personal and social skills. In addition, many coaches without qualifications. The profile of soccer trainer corresponds to that of men between 21 and 30 years, high school, BUP/COU, who plays or has played football and been training at the grassroots between 0 and 5 years.
