Abstract
This paper is part of a research focused in the evaluation of educational guidance in Secondary education. Some roles played by school guidance officers have been previously identified, and, later, these professionals have evaluated these roles through polls with a theoretical, practical and training perspective. After receiving the poll results, we have established that the principal role is that of counsellor, as well as other roles considered as part of a counselling model of Intervention. Some differences were found between the theoretical and practical perspectives, and between the theoretical and training perspectives, but not between the practical and training perspectives.
