Abstract
This work is an approach to the possible dissemination of medical knowledge in Medieval England during the 14th and 15th centuries. The study is based on the localisation of the scribal language of Middle English medical texts. The localised texts have been classified according to the topic they deal with. In mapping their distributions, we aim to identify areas which might have been salient for the production of medica.
