Abstract

In the development of current Project of Doctoral Thesis it will address the study of decontamination of the wastes produced by a slaughterhouse. To do this, it will design and it will construct an anaerobic digester suitable for the biodegradation of those wastes, and for a generation volume like it is produced annually in the municipal slaughterhouse of Badajoz. Apart from build an alternative to the current treatment that is given to this type of wastes, the good design of the prototype will let an ideal production of biogas, that it could be use in a cogeneration process. It has developed a mathematical model for determining the biokinetic parameters of the anaerobic digestion process of slaughterhouse wastes.
